I decided to try the "No Lines" technique in stamping. I did have a touch of the lines though so I could see them! I'm not sure I'm feeling this technique as it is difficult to see the lines to color in, but thought I'd give it a go and see how it came out. I am kind of pleased with the outcome. I do enjoy winter sports and have always loved going ice skating in the woods where I grew up. It was always so quiet and peaceful. I colored the image and background with Copics. I also added some Misting sprays and inks to the back ground and used a snow flake stencil with white chalk ink to give it a little more texture. I also added a snowflake charm and used some of those wonderful snowflake sequins from Kraftin Kimmie. I did have fun playing with this and I am entering it into Kraftin Kimmie's Get Sporty challenge. I'm not sure the name of this stamp as I did win him from Kraftin Kimmie. Thank you Kim for such a cute stamp and one that was meant for this challenge.

Kraftin Kimmie Saturday Challenge #278 "A Baby Shower"
Well, here I am again to showcase my layout using Diana from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. You can purchase her here. This week's challenge is to use an image in the theme of a baby shower. I bought this stamp this past December immediately after my daughter announced that she was pregnant with her second lil one. I was sooooo excited, I purchased this stamp with the intentions of using for her next baby shower. Only, that didn't happen. Unfortunately, the following week she had a miscarriage. I was devastated as was she. I had no idea what I would ever use this stamp for if she decided to not try again. But, after the announcement was made for this week's challenge, my lil brain went crazy. I don't have to use it for a baby shower card, I can use it for my granddaughter's scrap pages!!! Silly me!!! So, I pulled out some of her baby pics and picked 3 of my faves. I used different papers from my stash, some baby charms, petaloo flowers (which I love by the way!), bling swirls with flowers by petaloo, and I fussy cut some numbers from a Debbie Mumm paper pad I had in my stash for her birth date. Yes, she is gonna be 5 years old very soon!!! How time has flown. I can remember the day she came home from the hospital and how tiny she was and now to see her, just amazing!!! I love this lil girl with all my heart. She is my mini me!!! LOL!! I colored Diana with Copics. Here is my layout.................
